Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Administrator (Maternity Cover) to join the Accounts Payable team. This role could be extended based on performance. This position will be a full-time role, with the person responsible for managing the Stock and Service/Non-Stock vendors within the Accounts Payable function and General office administration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Admin or purchase ledger experience desirable
  • Good communications skills (written and oral) are essential for this role
  • Strong administration skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Methodical with an eye for accuracy and detail
  • SAP Experience is desirable
  • Team player

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily processing of purchase ledger invoices
  • Ensuring the correct checks and posting procedures for all different types of accounts is followed including: purchased, consigned, holdback, non-stock & freight
  • Checking all invoices are correctly billed
  • Dealing with supplier queries, price queries, stock queries, invoice issues and internal stakeholders
  • Relationship management with vendors
  • Quarterly credit position review for holdback vendors to be completed
  • Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements & issue of payments to suppliers on a timely basis
  • Relationship managers with our vendors (new and existing)
  • General office administration & reporting
  • Provide annual leave cover within AP team where required
  • Carry other tasks or duties as required by senior management in line with the business achieving its objectives
