If you are a high-achieving, results orientated Financial Analyst with proven analytical skills in a multinational environment, here are 3 good reasons to talk to me about this job:
1. Variety, challenge and influence in your job:
As a trusted Senior Financial Analyst & advisor to this large, multifaceted manufacturing site, you will become both the Finance Business Partner to the Quality function, as well as the Subject Matter Expert for overhead spend for the entire Galway site.
Joining the FP&A division of a large team of high-achieving, senior finance professionals in Galway, you will support the Quality Function with their financial performance, budgets & forecasts, cost centre spend, capital investments appraisals, strategic business decisions and site-wide cost improvement programmes.
As SME for the site’s overhead spend, which consists of multiple manufacturing units at various development stages, you are a key business consolidation analyst in the site’s quarterly forecast and annual operating plan (AOP) process. A visible and influential role, your analysis is presented to the Site Leadership Team in Galway and the Executive Team in their US HQ.
2. Work for a global leader, on one of their most important sites:
As part of ongoing investment by Corporate HQ, Galway has grown employee numbers by 60% in the last 5 years. The recent acquisition of a green-field site further reflects the Company’s ongoing commitment to Galway.
3. Work in a collaborative & supportive team:
Joining a highly impressive team of Senior Analysts, Finance Managers and Senior Managers, led by the site’s Finance Director, all of whom have previously worked in other global leading organizations, your strong work ethic and desires to achieve strong results will marry well in this high-achieving team. Working with this strong network of like-minded people, you will be supported in all your career development needs, allowing you to really enjoy your work and excel in your career also.
Initially working from home due to Covid restrictions, this job is expected to be a hybrid role in the long-term, working 3 days onsite in Galway and 2 days from home.
Is this job for you?
While experience in manufacturing would be nice to have, it’s not important. What we are looking for is an independent, self-starter, with strong attention to detail! A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with c5-8 years PQE, you will have proven ability in providing detailed financial analysis in a multinational environment, while also seeing the bigger picture, and having confidence to drive improvements in costs.
