We are currently recruiting for an experienced and talented Chef to join our kitchen team. The individual required for the role should have a very strong culinary and management background with a natural passion for food and flair for presentation. Person Specification: Basic knowledge with budgets/costings and margins, A proven track record in driving quality standards Experience in managing and performing in a diverse and dynamic team A progressive attitude towards training, coaching and motivating the kitchen team An ability to lead by example within a fast paced kitchen environment To ensure that all hygiene & HACCP regulations are strictly adhered to at all times 1-2 years experience in a similar role.Main Responsibilities: Help Manage and control labour and food costs The design and delivery of new menu concepts To understand the budget and work to agreed targets Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage policies and procedures To maintain consistently high standards and quality across all areas of the food operation To assist with Owner the management and smooth running of the day to day operations in the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on standards and service delivery in a very busy hotel/restaurant environment.
