As a corporate tax senior within the existing team, you will be responsible for supporting the tax team in providing advisory services to a high variety of high turnover clients. You will provide advice on clients matters such as implementing the most tax effective structure of their business, taking full advantage of tax opportunities and reliefs, achieving the optimum capital or revenue tax treatment, tax on disposals and maximising relief on acquisitions in addition to efficient corporate tax planning. You will also ensure clients meet the rigorous demands of compliance. The successful candidate should be capable of managing client relationships and taking the initiative to project manage and complete client assignments. The role will give the successful candidate a great opportunity to grow professionally and personally in an exciting and dynamic business.
Qualified Tax Professional (AITI) and Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA).
Experience in managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients within a practice and advising them on tax matters.
In depth knowledge and hands on experience in interpreting Irish Tax Legislation, relevant commentary and case law.
Ability to work to deadlines and deliver.
Excellent organisational and planning capabilities.
Participate actively on a daily basis with team members within the practice on tax compliance and related matters.
Experience in Succession Planning and group restructuring for privately owned businesses.
Dealing with ad-hoc Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CGT, VAT and Stamp Duty queries to include excellent technical experience across all tax heads.
Identifying practice development initiatives.
Self-motivated and ability to analyse and solve client issues in a proactive and practical manner with the objective of identifying the best solutions.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Desire to do a great job on a daily basis.
